Everything the Gmail integration does for you
From inbox warm-up to reply detection — fareof handles the deliverability details so you can focus on the conversation.
Send from your real Gmail address
Sequences go out under your own Gmail or Google Workspace address — not a shared relay. Prospects see the name and domain they already recognise.
Auto-sync replies
When a prospect replies, fareof detects it within minutes and pauses the sequence automatically. No more awkward follow-ups after someone has already responded.
OAuth 2.0 — no passwords stored
We connect through Google's official OAuth flow. fareof never sees your Gmail password and uses only the scopes required to send and read thread status.
Throttle to match Gmail limits
fareof respects Gmail's daily sending caps and spaces out messages across natural time windows to avoid triggering spam filters.
Warm-up aware scheduling
New Google Workspace accounts get graduated ramp-up: fareof starts at 20 emails per day and scales up automatically as your domain builds reputation.
Multi-inbox team support
Connect multiple Gmail accounts to a single workspace. Distribute sequences across inboxes to scale volume while keeping individual addresses healthy.
Connect in three steps
No code. No shared credentials. Under 60 seconds from settings to first send.
Click "Connect Gmail" in fareof settings
Go to Settings → Integrations → Gmail and hit Connect. Google's OAuth consent screen opens immediately.
Approve the read + send scopes
Grant fareof permission to send on your behalf and read thread status. No other scopes are requested. Revoke any time from your Google account.
Pick your inbox in any sequence
When building or editing a sequence, select the connected Gmail address from the Sender dropdown. All outgoing steps route through that inbox automatically.
Frequently asked
Does fareof store my Gmail password?+
No. The integration uses OAuth 2.0. Google issues fareof a time-limited access token and a refresh token. Your password never leaves Google.
Which Gmail scopes does fareof request?+
fareof requests gmail.send (to dispatch messages) and gmail.readonly limited to the threads it creates (to detect replies). No other data is accessed.
Will this hurt my sender reputation?+
Used correctly, no. fareof schedules sends during your working hours, respects Gmail's daily limits, and pauses sequences when replies arrive. Warm-up mode is available for new domains.
Can I use Google Workspace addresses?+
Yes. Any Gmail or Google Workspace address can be connected. Google Workspace accounts typically have higher daily limits than personal @gmail.com addresses.
What happens when a prospect replies?+
fareof polls your sent threads every few minutes. When a reply is detected, the sequence is paused for that contact and you receive an in-app notification. No follow-up fires after a reply.
Can multiple team members connect their own Gmail?+
Yes. Every workspace member can connect their own Gmail address. Sequences can be assigned per sender, so each rep sends from their own inbox.
How do I disconnect Gmail?+
Go to Settings → Integrations → Gmail and click Disconnect. You can also revoke access directly from your Google account security page at any time.
Is there an Outlook or SMTP option too?+
Yes. fareof supports Microsoft 365 / Outlook via OAuth and generic SMTP as a fallback. Gmail is the most popular choice because of its deliverability track record.
