  1. Connect Zoho via OAuth

    Go to Workspace → Integrations and click Zoho CRM. Authorize with your Zoho account — fareof requests read/write scope only for Leads, Contacts, and Accounts. No other modules touched.

  2. Map fields to your schema

    Match fareof firmographics (industry, employee band, funding stage, city, country) to your Zoho standard and custom fields. Mapping is saved per workspace and applies to every future push automatically.

  3. Push lists into Zoho

    Open any Lead List, click 'Push to Zoho CRM', and select Lead or Contact as the target module. Choose upsert to enrich existing records or insert-only for fresh prospects. Progress is logged row by row.

Does this work with Zoho One and Zoho CRM Plus?+

Yes — fareof connects to any Zoho CRM environment, including Zoho One and Zoho CRM Plus. The OAuth flow handles authentication regardless of which Zoho bundle you are on.

Can I push to Leads and Contacts separately?+

Yes. On each push you choose the target module: Leads for net-new prospects or Contacts for accounts already in your pipeline. Deduplication runs against the chosen module.

How does deduplication work in Zoho?+

fareof checks for existing records by email address before inserting. On a match it updates the record via upsert instead of creating a duplicate. Account deduplication matches on company domain.

What custom fields can I map?+

Any text, picklist, or number field visible via the Zoho CRM API. Common mappings: Employee Count → Employee Band picklist, Funding Stage → custom text, LinkedIn URL → custom URL field.

Is this suitable for larger enterprise Zoho deployments?+

Yes. fareof respects Zoho API rate limits and queues large pushes in batches of 100 records. For Scale-plan customers, concurrent batch processing is available for pushes above 10 k rows.

Does the sync trigger Zoho workflow rules?+

Yes — records created or updated via the fareof sync behave exactly like records created through the Zoho CRM UI or API. Your existing workflow rules, assignment rules, and Blueprint transitions fire normally.
